As a part of the full transition to Simple Syllabus for the Summer 2024 semester, we have removed the native Canvas syllabus link from your course navigation. This effectively hides the link to the syllabus page, but all the content on those pages remains intact. While retrieving that information is not as easy as it was before, this document will help you access syllabi from previous semesters. Retrieving that information is easy once you know how to do it.
After signing into your Canvas account and locating the course, scroll to the top of the page and copy the string of numbers within the URL:
Once you’ve copied the numbers, insert them into the URL below, replacing ######.
Copy and paste the URL into your web-browser and it will take you to the syllabus.
Note: The above steps are only applicable for syllabi created using the native canvas tool. All historical Simple Syllabus Syllabi can be accessed through the Simple Syllabus Library in your Simple Syllabus Dashboard.
